A Laundry Room Fit-Out Costs AED 5,000–15,000 in an Abu Dhabi Apartment
A basic fit-out with cabinetry, a countertop for folding, and plumbing connections typically starts around AED 5,000–8,000. A fully custom fit-out with built-in storage and premium finishes can reach AED 12,000–15,000.
What Actually Drives the Cost
Plumbing work is often the biggest variable — if the room doesn't already have water and drainage connections, running new pipework adds significantly more cost. Ventilation is also worth budgeting for, since a poorly ventilated laundry space can develop mould issues quickly.
Getting the Layout Right
Stacked washer-dryer units save space but need enough ceiling clearance and a stable base to avoid vibration issues. Discuss ventilation and drainage placement with your contractor before cabinetry is built.
